Body Mechanix Physical Therapy is a privately owned outpatient physical therapy clinic located in downtown Wakefield, RI. We are proud to be a physical therapist owned practice and have been serving the South County community for over 25 years.

Physical Therapists & Physical Therapy Assistants

We are currently looking for energetic, hardworking physical therapists and physical therapy assistants to join our team. Our practice offers insurance (health/vision/dental), retirement benefits, continuing education opportunities, and paid time off.  Salary is competitive and commensurate with your experience.

Internships

Our office works with multiple universities, both in and out of state, to facilitate internships for students pursuing a degree in healthcare or biological/life sciences. Because we provide private, one-on-one treatment, our office gives students a unique and focused setting to learn directly from a skilled physical therapist. We are happy to accommodate up to three student interns per semester, and have had students from as far as the University of Southern Florida complete their internship with our practice.

Physical Therapy Aides

Most of our physical therapy aides are students who are attending the University of Rhode Island, Rhode Island College, or other colleges in neighboring states. This means opportunities for employment in this position come up regularly as students move on to do clinical rotations or graduate and begin their careers. Students in all areas of biological/life sciences are encouraged to apply.
